Vladimir Putin has written a letter to the American public and it’s in The New York Times. A couple lines give me pause, but it’s well-put and worth reading.
On the other hand, here’s a comeback that also provides some good points.
“Hiding in N. Virginia, a daughter of Auschwitz” is a captivating story about the daughter not of a prisoner of the camp, but of the kommandant. The woman fled Germany after the war. Her father was captured and executed in Poland. She lives in the United States and almost no one knows her story.
“Unrigging the Admissions system” is a Slate piece from Dean of Admissions at Yale Law School. It gives some very simple, very helpful advice about applying to (and being noticed by) elite schools (or any school, for that matter). Here are a few ways to avoid the slush pile.
